Yes. If the clinical picture points to a bacterial infection, I can issue a private prescription there and then. I won't prescribe just because you ask, but if it's warranted, you leave with it the same day.
Yes. The £49 covers the full 30-minute consultation, examination, diagnosis and prescription. You pay the pharmacy separately for the medication itself.
Yes. If you're unwell and need time off work, I can issue a fit note during your consultation. Pharmacists have been able to issue fit notes since 2022, and they are accepted by employers in the same way.
No. You can book directly, and same-day slots are often available.
Your safety comes first. If anything during your examination suggests you need urgent hospital care, I'll tell you clearly and direct you appropriately, including calling 999 if needed. This is a private minor illness service, not an emergency department.
